Research

Dr Elizabeth did her PhD in spider taxonomy under the guidance of Dr P. A. Sebastian, an eminent arachnologist.  Her thesis is entitled ‘Taxonomy of spiders belonging to the genus Cyrtophora Simon, 1864 (Araneae, Araneidae) of the Western Ghats using morphological and molecular data. She has made oral presentations in three International congresses abroad. Dr Elizabeth guides MSc projects in biodiversity,ecology and molecular techniques.
